Due to expansion our client is seeking a dynamic individual to join their sales team.

Ideally you would be experienced selling Doors/ Joinery Products or have worked in the Builders / Timber Merchant sector it would also be an advantage to have a good understanding of the construction sector. This position is for an experienced individual that can establish & build relationships at Senior level.   

Reporting to: Managing Director  

As Senior Sales Manager you will be working along with the estimating & sales team promoting the company’s Products to exciting sectors including Local Authorities, Councils & Social Housing & Housing Associations.

Key Responsibilities as Senior Sales Manager

  • Contract Negotiations  
  • Staying updated with Industry Trends
  • Agreeing and setting up framework agreements
  • Quoting and costing customer requirements  
  • Understanding customer needs and requirements, research accounts, identify key players.
  • Prospecting & lead generation
  • Building and maintaining relationships and winning enquiries & ultimately the business

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required as Senior Sales Manager

  • Proven experience in sales
  • Knowledge of Fire Doors & Fire Door Certification
  • Experience dealing with Local Authorities / Governments negotiating and setting up Framework Agreements.  
  • General Construction knowledge essential & knowledge of the Construction sector
  • Self motivated with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision.
  • Confident and professional telephone manner  
  • Effective communication skills
  • Customer focused with sound commercial skills.
  • Good IT skills & PC literate and experience with Microsoft Outlook
