SED 2010 cancelled

Published:  11 January, 2010

SUTTON: Organiser Reed Business Information is cancelling its Site Equipment Demonstration (SED) which was due to take place on 18-20 May.

Although an improvement in business is expected around April, exhibitors and industry does not expect a significant, established upturn until the end of 2010, said the company.

2010 had "unexpectedly become a three-construction event year as a result of extractive and construction show Hillhead's postponement from 2009, and Bauma taking place in Germany during April," said Tim Porter, SED's head of sales.

"The year's break will be spent working on 'new show plans and initiatives' for 2011."

SED will return on 17-19 May, 2011 at Rockingham Motor Speedway.
