Jewson scout hut make-over

Published:  12 February, 2010

SOUTH MOLTON: A scout hut has been given a makeover with materials donated by Jewson.

The building in Southley Road, blighted with graffiti for some time, was targeted by the town's neighbourhood policing team keen to get it cleaned up.

Funding came from Safer North Devon along with the South Molton and District Crime Prevention Panel, while supplies were provided by the town branch of Jewson's.

The policing team also hope to work with the trustees to complete a similar project at South Molton Swimming Pool in the near future.
