Jewson partners with Hyndburn Homes

Published:  23 July, 2010

LANCASHIRE: Social housing landlord, Hyndburn Homes, has signed a materials supply deal with national builders' merchant Jewson.

The partnership will see the merchant operate a stores depot at its Altham headquarters for the landlord. Previously, Hyndburn Homes operated its own in-house stores system.

David Cross, operations manager at Hyndburn Homes, said: "Thanks to the buying power of a national company like Jewson we will now be able to stock more products, buy them in more cost effectively and have access to a wider range of products.

"Ultimately this will mean that the majority of customers will have a quicker and more efficient service," he said.
