NORTHAMPTON: Jewson is backing Northampton Town by becoming an official club partner in a three-year deal with the club.

The merchant will sponsoring the Jewson Cup, the half time competition that gives local youngsters the chance to take part in a half time penalty competition this season to win a coaching session from Ian Sampson.

Tony Howe, branch manager of Jewson in Northampton said: "Just like Northampton Town, we are a big part of the community and so the partnership seems a natural fit. We are very impressed with the work the club does in the community and we wanted to be a part of that and to support them. We are proud to be based in Northampton and we and the club are pleased to be associated with each other. We look forward to cheering the Cobblers on to success this season."
