UK: IronmongeryDirect is celebrating the achievement of eight of its team being credited with Level 1 and 3 of the prestigious Guild of Architectural Ironmongery (GAI).

This industry qualification equips staff with the understanding to keep customers informed and updated when it comes to industry standards, regulations and legislation, advising customers on the right products for their project needs.

Wayne Lysaght-Mason, managing director of IronmongeryDirect comments; “The GAI programme is essential training within our ever changing industry. We are proud of our award-winning customer service offering but that can only be achieved by investment in staff through time spent training and developing knowledge. We’re delighted with the teams achievements; the understanding gained through this programme will in turn be passed onto our customers allowing them to make informed choices of product.”

IronmongeryDirect understands the importance of staff development believing that staff should have the technical expertise of the highest order. It provides full funds for employees participating in the GAI courses. These qualifications are vital not only for staff development but also the trusted advice that IronmongeryDirect can offer its customers.
