Police appeal for help

HINCKLEY: Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary at Keyline builders' merchants on Brookfield Road in Hinckley.

The incident happened between 6pm last Friday and 7.45 on Saturday, June 13.

Police believe the burglars entered by removing a fencing panel that surrounded the property.

PC Paul Bingham, the officer investigating the incident, said a "substantial quantity" of fencing panels and drainage fittings were stolen. "We believe that it could be possible that a vehicle was used to remove the stolen items.

He called on anyone in the area who saw a suspicious vehicle in the area to contact him. "Alternatively it may be that you work in the building industry and have been approached by someone trying to sell items similar to those described, if so then we want to hear from you," he said.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC 1288 Paul Bingham on 0116 222 2222.
