Travis supervisor takes on London's marathon

KINGS LYNN: Maria Frary, administration supervisor at Travis Perkins in Kings Lynn is to run the London marathon to raise funds for charity Whizzkids.

 

The charity helps disabled youngsters live more independently.

This year is the second year that the depot staff supported Whizz-kidz: they raised £2000 for the cause last year.

Ms Frary, 47, a keen runner who completed the Peterborough half-marathon in 2009, aims to raise at least £1600 for the charity.
