NEWMARKET: Lettergold is the first water treatment company to be audited for compliance with the Benchmark scheme.
"We are delighted with the outcome, NAPIT carried out a comprehensive audit at Lettergold and we scored full marks and included in the scheme," said managing partner Sue Clews.
"The inclusion of water treatment in the 2006 Building Regulations demonstrates the invaluable contribution domestic water treatment makes to energy efficiency.
"We have spent many years working with the industry to develop a comprehensive high quality range of bespoke water treatment products. Private label design is all part of the service we offer. Buildcert accredited formulations along with Benchmark gives customers their own branded range to compete with anything else available on the market today at very competitive prices."
The Benchmark member scheme is a nationally recognised scheme that places the responsibilities on both manufacturers and installers to ensure best practice in installation, commissioning and servicing of domestic heating and hot water products in line with Building Regulations in England and Wales. It is managed and promoted by the Heating and Hotwater Industry Council (HHIC).
