BMF plays part in Greenbuild Awards

Published:  16 November, 2011

London: BMF's Chris Pateman is one of the judges for the Greenbuild Awards 2012, which seek to recognise building projects that have achieved outstanding energy efficiency.

The awards are designed to recognize actual building performance, rather than "paper" performance.

Liz Reason of the Green Gauge Trust said: Too many buildings have won sustainability awards only to learn later that their actual performance is not as designed.

Winners will be announced at an event at the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester on May 9.

The closing date for entries is January 31. Contact lucy@greenbuildnews.co.uk for details.
