Axis wins £23m Southern Housing repairs

LONDON: Housing maintenance specialist Axis Europe has gained a £23m contract with Southern Housing Group.

The £60m turnover maintenance contractor beat 13 rival bidders with a £23.1m bid to carry out day-to-day maintenance and void repairs in Sussex and Surrey. The contract will run for 10 years.

The award completes a set of framework agreements covering 25 000 homes that has Breyer carrying out repairs in London, MHS Commercial in Kent and Mountjoy on the Isle of Wight.
