Derby builder Winfield goes under

HEANOR: Winfield Construction has ceased trading after calling in administrators.

The £15m turnover contractor , set up by Ian Winfield in 2000, specialised in commercial, retail, education and healthcare work.

Matt Ingram and John Whitfield, partners at corporate restructuring business MCR are handling the affairs of the building contractor. Winfield Construction operated in the construction sector and ceased to trade on appointment, said administrators. The joint administrators said: “We are in the process of reviewing the company’s contracts and completing an orderly disposal of the company’s assets.”
