Manchester: Plans are underway for redevelopment of the Heaton Retail Park in north Manchester where space is let to retailers including Wickes and Sainsbury's.

The park sold for £5.7m to a joint venture between London-based Terrace Hill Group and Peveril Securities.

The new owners are in talks with the city council about redevelopment plans for the 43 000sq ft site opposite the entrance to Heaton Park.
