HORSHAM: Local independent building and timber merchant Covers is now open for business at its new Horsham depot, having invited one of its most loyal customers to cut the ribbon at the official opening.
Mick Holmes, of M. Holmes Construction Ltd, has been a regular at the Covers Foundry Lane branch for over four years.
On Monday 12 March, Mr Holmes was the guest of honour at the ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the launch of the all-new warehouse and depot, also located on Foundry Lane.
Mr Holmes said: "I have always used Covers because of their competitive prices, excellent service and friendly staff, so I'm delighted to be asked to officially open their new premises.
"The facilities at the new depot are fantastic with a huge yard, plenty of parking and a much bigger stock range. It's great news for tradesmen in the Horsham area."
The new depot is set over a full acre and boasts a saw mill, loose aggregate bins and a vast warehouse, showroom and trade counter.
Covers commercial director, Henry Green, said: "Mick is one of a large number of loyal and valued customers in the area and we're pleased he agreed to cut the ribbon at this new facility.
"For the first time in Horsham, we are now able to offer a purpose-built, fully stocked depot for our existing customers and a friendly, welcoming environment for new ones."
The new Horsham depot will now have a week of special offers for its customers to enjoy.
