OXFORDSHIRE: Luke Williams, assistant manager at plumbing and heating firm Plumbase, Bicester, helped the firm raise almost £130 000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

He and two colleagues representing parent company Grafton Merchanting GB, which raised £129 339 for Macmillan last year, visit the charity's HQ in London last week.

Blanca Fernandez, head of the Macmillan Support Line, said: "We'd like to say a massive thank you to all at GMGB for raising this fantastic total. We know that people affected by cancer value the service and that it really can make the difference between having a good day and a bad day for them."
