Nine firms win £100m Birmingham new homes deal

THE MIDLANDS: Birmingham City Council has selected nine firms to deliver a mix of housing schemes over the next three years.

The £100m programme is being delivered by the Municipal Housing Trust. Mansell and Lovell have places on all three elements of the planned newbuild programme.

The framework has been broken up into three lots covering rented, mixed tenure and large-scale newbuild schemes.

The Birmingham Municipal Housing Trust panel includes: Southdale, Lovell Partnerships; Jessup Brothers; Wates Living Space; Mansell Construction for rented and/or shared ownership dwellings; Kier Partnership Homes; Lovell Partnerships; Mansell Construction Services; Persimmon Homes (South Midlands); Galliford Try Construction; Keepmoat for cross-subsidy mixed tenure schemes; Lovell Partnerships; Mansell Construction; Persimmon Homes (South Midlands); Galliford Try Construction and Keepmoat for large-scale mixed tenure schemes.
