Buildbase housing contract

LONGWELL GREEN: Housing association Merlin Housing Society has agreed a £2m contract with Buildbase that will see supplies delivered direct to Merlin’s repair teams.

Winston Williams, managing director of Merlin’s in-house repairs team, Merlin Works, said: “This is a revolutionary new way of working in our industry. It offers great value for money savings and means that our vans will always have a stock of the things they use the most.

Buildbase regional director, Neil Parsons said: “We have formed a strong partnership with Merlin and will be working closely with them to provide the best possible service for residents.

“Our delivery system is a first within the housing industry and will help the Merlin works team to respond swiftly – a priority for a housing society.
