Durning directs at Superglass

STIRLING: Allan Durning has been appointed sales and marketing director for Superglass Insulation.

Mr Durning stepped into the role on 28 May, and will be well-known to merchants from his previous role as executive chairman of the National Buying Group.

"There is no doubt that it's a challenging time for Superglass, but we are heading in the right direction, securing the future of an independent uk building material supplier," said Mr Durning. "I'm looking forward to being a part of chief executove Alex
McLeod's turnaround team - Project Phoenix is bringing the business back on track.

"Superglass has recently seen substantial investment and support from both public and private sources, which means that the
future is already looking far more positive, and we are well-placed to capitalise on that and drive forward with new innovative high value insulation products for the market. After all, insulation - it's what we do!"
