David Beckham Academy hosting 2009 Construction Cup

GREENWICH: Open to any Company involved in the construction industry – from building to architecture, this five a side tournament will take place on September 16 at the Academy in Greenwich.

Each team is permitted to have a total of eight players and eight spectators present, and all attendees receive refreshments and the chance to play or watch a team of legends including Ray Parlour, Paul Allen, Kerry Dickson and Lee Shape.

The winning team of the overall competition will also take home the prestigious David Beckham Academy Construction Cup Trophy.

This the fourth year the Construction Cup has taken place and participants have included represenatives from all walks of the construction industry, from trades such as building, plumbing, and painting to solicitors, developers and planners. This competition is open to anyone apart of or associated with the construction industry, and is about reuniting the industry in a unique and fun social setting.
