Apex Roofing and Cladding ceases trading

Published:  02 July, 2012

BIRMINGHAM: Specialist contractor Apex Roofing and Cladding has been placed in administration. The 40-year old firm installed more than 100,000sq metres of roofing and cladding each year on a mix of projects for main contractors such as Bam, Carillion and Ocon.

The business ran into cash flow problems caused by payment delays with a main contractor. It was part of the AWI group which also owned InnerHouse Surfacing, a surfacing and civil engineering company in the Midlands, which is also in administration.
