Merchants are the masters at NMBS Golf Day

WARWICKSHIRE: The Annual NMBS Masters Golf Day on 26 July took place at the Marriott Forest of Arden. Over 60 players made their way round the 18-hole course on one of the hottest days of the year.

Winners on the day were: (1st) Dai Thomas of LBS with 39 points; (2nd) Phil Vernon of Windsor Bathrooms with 37 points; (3rd) Andrew Tomlinson of Manningham Concrete with 35 points; (ladies’ prize) Ann Wyatt of Kingsley Bathrooms with 24 points; (supplier prize) Andy Williamson of IKO with 27 points; (nearest the pin) Mark Davies of LBS and (longest drive) Daron Whiteford of Boys & Boden.

The winning team, with 80 points, featured Andy Williams of H+H, Darren Weston and Daron Whiteford of Boys & Boden and Shaun Phillips of Clarkes of Walsham. 

After the 14 groups finished their game, the teams were treated to a three-course meal and presentation of the day’s results. NMBS events manager, Sam Hunt thanked all of the supplier sponsors for their continued support and “for what was yet again another great Golf Day”.
