New general manager for Fermacell

SUTTON COLDFIELD: Fermacell has appointed Gary Carter as its new UK general manager. Mr Carter joins Fermacell, part of the Xella Group, from stairpart specialists Richard Burbidge, where he spent 20 years. 

Mr Carter has joined Fermacell to help drive the company’s business and communication strategy in the UK for its portfolio of products within the commercial and residential sectors. Hesaid: “I am delighted to be joining a company with such a strong and established reputation for innovation and quality products. Working at Fermacell is a new challenge and an opportunity I take on with great enthusiasm. I look forward to building upon the company’s successes and working with the team to spread the message of Fermacell’s superior performance, making it the natural choice for all building professionals.”

Mr Carter takes over the position from Tim Deathridge who left Fermacell earlier this year.
