Construction Marketing Awards 2012 – shortlist announced

LONDON: The shortlist for this year’s Construction Marketing Awards has been announced, and following a record number of entries, it’s unsurprising to see a wide selection of high-quality pieces of work featured.
The trend of recent years towards the digital arena continued, with new categories for the awards this year in social media and mobile attracting good numbers of high quality entries. But the category with the biggest entry – Best Campaign over £25,000 – showed a new trend: to fully integrated on and offline campaigns. This year more companies than ever are recognising that a good campaign will use all the tools at its disposal, and showing a higher degree of integration and sophistication than ever before.
Merchants in contention for awards include Grahams, Howarth Timber, Travis Perkins, Plumb and Drain Center.
The winners will be announced at a gala dinner in London on December 6.
