United wins £57m London housing job

United House has been awarded a £57.6m contract to build a mixed-use development on Wharf Road in Islington, London.

The canal-side development includes 327 houses in four blocks ranging from seven to 10 storeys and 550sq metres of commercial space. All the flats will meet Code for Sustainable Homes level 4 and commercial spaces will meet BREEAM Excellent.
