United House wins £150m refurb contract

Social housing contractor United House and partner Keepmoat have won a £150m repairs and maintenance contract to refurbish 14,000 properties in the South-east of England.

The contract awarded by housing group Circle covers Merton Priory in south west London, Mole Valley in the Dorking and Leatherhead area of Surrey and Russet Homes in the Tonbridge area of Kent.

United House will be delivering all of the planned maintenance work for Merton Priory Homes, Mole Valley Housing Association and Russet Homes.

Keepmoat will be providing responsive repairs for Merton Priory Homes and Russet Homes.

Circle's in-house repairs team will deliver the responsive repairs for Mole Valley Housing Association.

The contract is worth up to £30m annually over five years with an option to extend work for a further five years.
