Bristan Group has appointed a new head of commercial specification to support its expanding commercial division.

With a wealth of bathroom and kitchen sector experience, Daniel Winchester will head up the commercial division. Mr Winchester previously worked at Dornbracht, a manufacturer of premium bathroom and kitchen fixtures, for over six years. In his most recent role of senior project sales manager for the UK, he was responsible for developing partner relationships with architects, designers and contractors, in order to secure specifications and generate new business.

Now at Bristan, Mr Winchester will be tasked with leveraging the Group’s expanding commercial product portfolio in order to increase market share in the commercial arena. Supported by a six-strong team of business development managers and a national commercial business development manager, Richard Braid, he will be responsible for actively promoting the company’s products and identifying new opportunities across all sectors of the commercial market.

This year has seen Bristan Group deliver a series of commercial solutions, driven by a true understanding of the evolving needs of specifiers, contractors, installers and end users.

Ian Hansell, general manager at Bristan Group, said: “Following increased focus on the commercial market, and exceptional product innovation, we have seen considerable commercial market growth this year and our objective is to grow market share even further in 2015. Daniel’s role is integral to this and with his skills and experience he will help us shape our commercial offering for the future.”

Mr Winchester added: “These are incredibly exciting times for Bristan Group. The company’s culture to invest, research and innovate is what distinguishes us from the rest of the market, and I'm looking forward to driving the business forward into further commercial success.”
