Festive fundraising at Wolseley UK has raised £3,100 for Coventry charity the Lily Mae Foundation.

Staff at the plumbing and heating firm’s Leamington Spa head office organised a number of fun events to support the charity, including a Christmas jumper day and a raffle of Christmas gifts.

In England and Wales, five babies in every 1,000 births are stillborn* and the Lily Mae Foundation helps and support parents and families that have been affected by the death of a baby.

Amy Jackson, founder of the Lily Mae Foundation, said: “Our work – which includes supplying memory boxes, purchasing cold cot systems and supporting new research - is funded entirely through donations. We’re very grateful for the ongoing generosity of our friends and supporters.”

Site facilities manager, John Page, said: “Our employees were asked to vote for a Christmas charity beneficiary and the Lily Mae Foundation was picked from a number of local organisations. It’s nice to give something back to such a good cause.”
