Markovitz charity dinner raises £20,000

Published:  16 January, 2015

Derybshire-based builders’ merchant Markovtiz Ltd has raised a phenomenal £20,000 for #ChallengeDerbyshire.

The newly established local charity #ChallengeDerbyshire is a blend of three existing local charities – Ashgate Hospicecare, Blythe House Hospice and Helen’s Trust – all aiming to support patients and their families.

The funds were raised at the Markovitz annual charity dinner held in November 2014. Customers were invited to enjoy a complementary four-course meal alongside a charity raffle, charity auction and dance. The £20,000 raised went towards #ChallengeDerbyshire’s overall target of £100,000.
