Builders’ merchant Gibbs & Dandy has won a contract to be a preferred materials supplier for Building and Technical Services (BTS), which is the trading arm of Luton Borough Council.

Gibbs & Dandy’s Luton branch will supply new kitchens to BTS, which provides building and repair services for around 8,000 council properties, along with building services for private and public sector organisations. The contract will run for three years.

Andrew Cushing, sales director at Gibbs & Dandy, said: "Gibbs & Dandy Builders’ and Timber Merchant was established in Luton in the 1840s and though we have grown nationally, we remain very proud of our Luton heritage.

“We are therefore delighted to have been selected to supply materials to Luton Borough Council and are committed to providing the highest possible service."

BTS divisional manager, Calvin Fisher, added: “We are delighted to welcome Gibbs & Dandy as a new materials supplier for BTS. As a business we are continually striving to enhance both the service and customer experience delivered and we are confident that our new local partner will help us achieve this.”
