Increased sales across the UK of Actis’ range of mix and match Hybrid insulation products have sparked a clutch of new appointments for the manufacturer.

Five members of staff have been appointed to grow sales as demand grows.

Former Rugby player Bonnie Longdon becomes area sales manager for the South of England. Her background in estate agency puts her in an excellent position to understand the benefits of creating energy efficient homes from a consumer and property market viewpoint. She aims to expand Hybrid’s already strong reputation with timber frame companies and make it into a household name.

Increasing sales in the South West have seen the region previously split into two areas. Dan Anson-Hart has taken on the mantle of area sales manager for Devon, Cornwall, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Avon and Somerset, while long established sales manager, Andy Joyce, will concentrate his experience in the south central area - Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, Berkshire, and Hampshire.

Mr Anson-Hart will be working closely with key distributors Minster, SIG and Encon to help their builders and roofing merchants promote, specify and sell Actis products.

Sean Mahoney brings his expertise of working with America’s largest insulation manufacturer, Johns Manville, to Actis by taking on the role of area sales manager for the North West.

Meanwhile, Margy Thomas and Sammy Bolton will be working in internal sales, liaising with the external team and new and existing customers.
