The Huws Gray running team successfully completed the Chester Half Marathon on 17 May, raising over £400 for Hope House Children’s Hospice.

The team included Gethin Jones (Truss design and manufacturing), Dafydd Hughes (marketing), Kevin Owen (Dolgellau branch), Patrick McKeown (Rhuddlan branch), and Daniel Farrell who supported the team from Crime Prevention Services (Chester).

There were some impressive finishing times with two of the team members completing the race in less than one hour and 30 minutes.

A spokesperson for the team said: “It was a great experience to be involved in such a well organised event. Chester was very busy and the atmosphere was fantastic. Thank you to everyone who supported us. We’re glad we can continue to support such a fantastic cause.”

Huws Gray has more fundraising events organised such as zip-wire, sky dive and bike challenges to raise essential funding for their dedicated charities for 2015.
