Garador’s Steve Cottle and Geoff Babiy have swapped their high tech work environment for a life on the open road – for a few days anyway as they take part in a major charity bike ride.

They have left the British garage door maker behind and are pedalling in the Paris to Yeovil event to raise money for Rotary Charity Fundraisers.

Every year Garador’s local Rotary club raises money for different charities through its Get Pedalling programme, and this year these include the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and Cyclists Fighting Cancer.

“Generally each day’s ride is around 50 to 60 miles,” said Mr Cottle. “But we have been training and have good bikes, so we are fairly confident we should make it.”
