The enhanced Plumb and Parts Center websites, which have been fully optimised for use on mobile devices, helps installers save time by checking real-time stock availability at their local branch, order on the move, at home or in the office, and save money by accessing their own personalised trade prices, manage their account (check invoices, previous orders, e-billing) and get the latest deals.
It also saves installers hassle with easy ordering of more than 150,000 products, including instant technical information at their fingertips. Plus, it is now fully enabled for mobiles.
Installers can simply find the products they need, add them to their basket and continue through to checkout. They can be delivered to any UK address or collected from any of the 500 plus branches nationwide. Stock availability is constantly updated and registered account customers can see their own prices, and get the very latest information about the products they need.
Payment is quick and secure for delivery via credit or debit cards or for those with accounts, it is just logged for future payment. It is also still really easy to find the nearest branch or to check the local stock availability.
The improved mobile sites make such a difference to installers in the course of their daily work. They can create a product list for a job or set regular van stock items, amend or add to it and then place the order at the customer’s home. Having checked stock availability before ordering, they can then confidently give a date for the work to be done. The order in the basket can now also be shared between devices, desktop, mobile or tablet.
