NMBS has announced the plans for its 2016 all-industry conference. Next year's event will take place from 16 to 19 June at Playa Blanca in Lanzarote.

The event's theme will be 'Business Matters', and those attending can look forward to developing their knowledge across a range of topical business areas that are particularly pertinent to today's merchanting and wider construction environment.

With the help of relevant experts and thought leaders from a number of fields, the conference will cover topics such as leadership, innovation, adopting an omni-channel approach, improving productivity and online trading.

To ensure a setting that is conducive to both great networking and the sharing of really useful business knowledge and know-how, NMBS has chosen the five-star Princesa Yaiza Hotel resort for the conference venue.

This award-winning resort enjoys a fantastic location and is situated midway between Playa Blanca old town and the picturesque Marina Rubicón, with both attractions just 500 metres away.

NMBS will be issuing further details concerning the conference to members, suppliers and other industry contacts at the end of July.

As ever, those involved in the provision of products and services to builders' merchants will be able to take advantage of a range of high-profile marketing opportunities in the form of different sponsorship packages.

Merchants will also be able to benefit from special, heavily-discounted, early bird booking rates.

Commenting on the 2016 all industry conference plans, Chris Hayward, managing director at NMBS, said: "The NMBS all-industry conference has developed a reputation for being a must-attend event for our Merchant Members and their major Suppliers. In 2016, we've every intention of building on that great tradition thanks to a carefully selected combination of keynote business speakers, topical subject matter and exclusive networking events."
