David Dunbavand has been announced as F & P Wholesale's new programme director.

Mr Dunbavand joins the distributor of heating, plumbing and bathroom products with experience working across a number of sectors, including commercial, supply chain and managerial roles with British Sugar, Silver Spoon and PepsiCo, as well as at IT company Prism Europe.

With over 20 years’ experience and a background in business growth strategy, he is heading up F & P’s recent acquisition of Primaflow, working with stakeholders to ensure smooth integration. He will also be supporting the review of network infrastructure and development as we focus on ensuring this larger combined business is “fit for the future”, while ensuring F & P is on hand to support customers.

On beginning his new role, Mr Dunbavand said: “Having worked on business strategy for a number of companies, I’m very excited to be taking on the programme for integrating an excellent standalone business into our combined product and service offering. I’m looking forward to working closely with stakeholders across the units to support our growth ambitions.”

Jed Kenrick, managing director of F & P, said: “David is a strong addition to the F&P, Primaflow & Connections management team. As programme director he will guide our expansion and integration programmes across the business units.

“David is passionate about delivering the best possible outcomes for the programme at the same time as safeguarding customer service standards.”

F & P delivers out of nine locations around the UK and only sells products directly to merchants and retailers, meaning customers know they are getting the best prices, the company says.
