Bosch Commercial and Industrial has announced a new supplier partnership with Heat Merchants in Ireland to supply its range of commercial products.

Founded in 1978, Heat Merchants supply’s heating and plumbing materials to installers across Ireland from the company’s 32 branches, supported by a central distribution facility in Athlone.

The partnership with Bosch allows Heat Merchants to extend its offering into commercial heating, alongside its already established domestic heating, bathroom and kitchen plumbing product ranges.

In addition to providing a full range of commercial products, Heat Merchants will also provide technical support and a specification service, allowing the business to offer technical advice and guidance for commercial projects of all sizes.

Alan Hogan, managing director of Heat Merchants Group, said: “Bosch Commercial and Industrial is a market leading brand around the world and we are delighted to have been selected as supply partner for their extensive commercial heating range; helping us to offer installation flexibility for heating engineers and bridge the gap between domestic boilers and the current light commercial projects.”

Geoff Hobbs, business development director at Bosch Commercial and Industrial, added: “We are looking forward to being able to showcase our offering of commercial boilers through Heat Merchants. With over 30 stores located throughout Ireland this is a great opportunity for Bosch to help support the growing demand from businesses for effective and efficient heating and hot water technologies. We’re looking forward to the positive impact this partnership is set to make on the service provided by our customers.”
