HB42, an all-in-one sealant and adhesive, sponsored a group of people who climbed the infamous Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania in September 2015.
Chris Poole, the son of HB42’s sales manager Mike Poole, and his fellow climbers (a group of 13) took seven days to reach base camp before starting their 35-hour trek up to the summit.
Feeling extremely unwell from altitude sickness and in temperatures of –20, the group finally reached the Uhuru Peak - the summit of Kilimanjaro. After taking a photograph with the HB42 banner, the group made a quick descent covering the same distance in five hours as they did in four days.
Congratulations to Mr Poole and the rest of his team who raised over £3,000 for The British Heart Foundation.
