MKM Building Supplies has launched two new showrooms, representing a £60k investment in its expanding kitchen and bathroom offering.

Both the Macclesfield and Kings Lynn branches received a £30k boost to create and upgrade its proposition with the very latest brands. The showrooms are part of MKM’s on-going plans to corner the interior design market through a high quality, diverse product portfolio and the expertise of specialist in-branch design staff.

Macclesfield now boasts a brand new kitchen showroom, complete with the appointment of Paul Fox and Rob Morris as in-house designers and stocks ranges of worktops and appliances from Symphony, Neff, AEG, Silestone Quartz and more. Its bathroom showroom was also upgraded to include fittings from Bristan and Tre-Mercati, as well as MKM’s own Instinct range.

MKM Kings Lynn has had a total showroom re-fit and celebrated with a special event complete with hog roast and live music. The branch currently has Mereway and Mackintosh displays and stocks the same bathroom range as Macclesfield. Branch staff were joined by representatives from Omega and Mereway to celebrate the launch which attracted almost 200 people.

MKM co-founder and executive chairman, David Kilburn, said: “The launch of these latest stunning showrooms, coupled with the arrival of new specialist designers in Macclesfield, is part of a business-wide strategy to expand the MKM product ranges beyond the roofing, landscaping, plumbing and heating supplies for which we are most commonly known. We are enabling branches to deliver maximum value to both trade and retail customers and fast becoming a one-stop supplier of quality materials for the full spectrum of projects.”
