ASSA ABLOY Access Control appoints new technical engineer

ASSA ABLOY Access Control, a UK division of ASSA ABLOY, has strengthened its technical support expertise with the appointment of technical engineer David Smyth.

Mr Smyth will be responsible for managing technical enquiries, helping to resolve any issues over the phone or by a site visit. He will also be tasked with leading the division’s training courses for its extensive customer base of OEMs and system integrators, highlighting best practice and addressing common industry challenges.

Gareth Ellams, managing director of ASSA ABLOY Access Control, said: “We are delighted to have Mr Smyth join the team. His technical expertise will undoubtedly be a valuable asset to our business moving forward.
