Two Twenty, which supplies timber staircases for builders’ merchants’ housebuilder customers, has been named as Business of the Year in the Burton Mail’s Business Awards 2016. The company has also been presented with a British Woodworking Federation (BWF) Process Efficiency Award for its business performance.

The Burton Mail awards recognise South Derbyshire firms that have made a difference to the community, cornered the market against the odds and won praise from clients and suppliers.

The company received the BWF Process Efficiency Award in recognition of new, efficient processes in the joinery industry which boost business performance and provide customers with great products at good price, quality level and delivery time.

Ali Wright, director of TwoTwenty, said: “When we started TwoTwenty in 2004, our aim was simple: to give builders and merchants a hassle-free, straight-forward staircase design and build service. No more chasing orders and quotes on the phone, no more complicated and time-consuming processes. From on-site measurements and quotations to drawings and final delivery, we take everything off their hands.

“We achieved all this, and more. Both these awards mean so much to us – they’re significant recognition of the results of everyone’s hard work and the impact on the success of our business.”
