Description

Our client is one of the UK's leading distributors of building materials to the end user within the construction industry. Due to their continued success and expansion, we have a fantastic opportunity as we are recruiting a Branch Manager within a leading Branch within the company.

Key responsibilities include:

- Staff management

- Managing sales strategy to increase branch sales

- Key account management

- Stock management

- Health and Safety

- Interpreting figures and acting upon them

- Staff training

- Co-ordinating promotions

The ideal candidate would need to have current or very recent experience working as a Branch Manager within a busy branch and mix merchant experience, with good working knowledge of all types of building materials. You would also need to have a good awareness and understanding of the local market place and its competitors.
