Multikwik’s sanitary frames and flush plates have been installed in Woodford Heating’s new office washrooms in Essex, to provide employees and visitors with an attractive bathroom space that will last at least 25 years.

Woodford Heating and Energy specialises in heating, energy and plumbing systems for the London residential housing market.

Steve Abbott, Operations Director at Woodford said: “We have a long standing relationship with Marley Plumbing and Drainage and its sister company Multikwik, so we knew that its products would be the perfect fit for our new washrooms. However, the Multikwik sanitary frames were a new product for us, but as we utilise many other of its products on a daily basis, we thought we’d give them a trial and we were delighted with the result.”

The ground floor toilets of Woodford Heating and Energy’s offices had six WCs, two urinals and four hand basin frames installed, in 1185mm, perfect for a commercial project such as this.

Multikwik’s sanitary frames support loads in excess of 400kg (63st) and are designed to stand the test of time, with a 25 year product guarantee. On the WC frames, dual flush stainless flushplate was specified because they dual flush capability offers a choice of 6/3 and 4/2 litre flushes.

Once all of the frames were installed, they were then concealed to mask the unsightly pipework for a clean finish, which took up no more space than a traditional back to the wall installation.

The fully adjustable frames were installed by Ian Burgess, one of Woodford Heating’s Service Engineers from Woodford FM (part of Woodford Heating & Energy), he said: “Having been a plumber for many years I have used a wide range of materials in my time; I found the Multikwik frames and concealed cisterns extremely easy to assemble and install. What’s more, all of the products were manufactured to a very high standard.”
