Marsh Industries is taking part in this year’s Pavestone Rally.

Marsh puts the pedal to the metal

Published:  08 September, 2017

This year the Rainy Day Trust has partnered with Pavestone to run a banger rally to the French Riviera in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust. Marsh Industries has put itself in the driving seat, entering a team driving a stylishly liveried Toyota Celica which it hopes will take them as far as Monte Carlo in just four days passing through eight countries along the way.

The car – which had to be purchased for £500 or less – now looks the part for the rally and will be driven by a Marsh Team comprising Managing Director Steve Boyer, Jon Bradley and Lydia Boyer.

More than 30 cars are taking part in what is now an annual event for the merchanting industry that raises thousands of pounds for worthy causes. Throughout the rally, the teams will have a series of challenges to complete with points awarded for challenges completed successfully, quality of fancy dress and age and engine size of the car purchased. The older and more dilapidated the car, the more points granted!
