Steve Taylor-Wilson, Marketing Communications Manager at Isover talks us through their recent attendance at Jewson Live 2017 at the NEC in Birmingham.

We recently showcased our range of insulation and air tightness/moisture management solutions on our interactive stand at the UK’s biggest builder’s merchant show, Jewson Live 2017.

Those who visited us on the stand were able to learn more about Metac our perfect pitched roof solution, our acoustic solutions for quieter homes, and our latest smart vapour barrier Vario XtraSafe.

Throughout the two day show, we showcased the difference our APR1200 solution can make to the acoustic comfort of a building, with our acoustic box. We ran a game on the stand where visitors had to guess a sound coming from the box which was insulated with APR1200. Those that took part had the chance to win spot prizes, such as t-shirts, pens and blasting brick amplifiers, and two lucky winners took home an Amazon Echo Dot.

What’s more, we spent the days talking to visitors about our acoustic campaign, The Sound Good Factor. This is an information hub for housebuilders and homeowners to discover all about our acoustic comfort and how our solutions reduce airborne noise and enhance the acoustic comfort of homes when used.

Visitors to the stand also had the opportunity to find out about Metac our new Pitched Roof rafter solution. Metac is a high performance thermal and acoustic insulation solution so as well as allowing you to meet a wide range of U-values it keeps out unwanted noise from outside unlike other insulation materials.

Those that registered their interest in Metac were entered into a prize draw to win the product for their next pitched roof rafter installation.

Vario XtraSafe was also featured on the stand so visitors were able to find out more and our latest smart vapour barrier. Vario XtraSafe is made from a breathable nylon layer with variable resistivity properties and offers exceptional airtightness and active moisture management.

Overall the show for Isover was a success, with plenty of visitors to the stand praising the in-depth information provided.
