We are retained by a leading manufacturer of Plumbing Materials who, due to continued success, are seeking to recruit a professional AREA MERCHANDISER to join their team covering the SOUTH COAST AREA.

Our Client’s products are high quality and competitively priced. They are therefore seeking a Candidate who is able to capitalize on their success to date and further develop their business in the UK.

Reporting to: Area Sales Manager

The role:

As a regional merchandiser the purpose of the role is to develop business by increasing brand awareness and improving relationships with key customers. You will be visiting existing merchant branches across the ESSEX / EAST ANGLIA AREA.

The main tasks will include;

· Communicate ideal stock profile to customers

· Ensure products are merchandised correctly

· Stock replenishment

· Deliver and install POS solutions

· Deliver product literature.

· Deliver product presentations

Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:

· Our client is looking for a personable and driven individual with the ability to build lasting relationships.

· You will need to have experience in business to business and end user marketing with good knowledge of merchandising principles and have an eye for detail.

· You will need to be a strong communicator and any qualifications in marketing or business studies will be beneficial.
