Almost 2,000 women have walked through the night to raise money for a local hospice.

This included Jo Clark, Liz Ridding, Karina Tyszkiewicz, Nicky Wilson and Karen Borton from Palladium Building Supplies, who completed the six-mile Neon Midnight Walk in Plymouth as the “Palladium Dumpies”.

The team began the walk at 10pm on 21 July and finished at 12pm, raising more than £1000. More donations are still being received.

The money will go to St Luke’s Hospice, a charity which provides specialist advice and support to people with progressive life-limiting illnesses in the South West of England.

The Palladium Dumpies said: “We would like to thank all those who supported us with our challenge, and wish St Luke's Hospice Plymouth all the best in reaching their goals.”
