Young players at a rugby club in Wales have received a welcome boost from a local business merchant.
Scott Parnell has sponsored the Merthyr Rugby Football Club U13’s for the first time. The groundworks and civil engineering suppliers’ logo will appear on the players’ new kit in the 2018/2019 season.
Lindsey James, Team Manager at Merthyr RFC, said: We are delighted to welcome Scott Parnell as sponsors for what promises to be an exciting year.
Last season saw the team get to the semi-finals of the Cardiff Blues Cup, and this time we’re already off to a brilliant start with two massive wins, including a very convincing triumph over one of the favourites.’’
