We are recruiting a high-profile new role for our client - a manufacturer of insulation materials. The role is focusing on the promotion of their products into the Large Regional House Builders, Developers and Main Contractors.

This is a key sales / business development position within the Building Supplies / Construction Supplies sector selling insulation materials for an insulation manufacturer to the Large Regional House Builders, Developers.

This role is to cover the Southern half of the UK. The majority of the work will be out of London and the South East however, there will be provincial builders in other areas of the territory that you may deal with. Access into London is important.

Managing a sales budget of £5m per annum

· Contacts within the House Builder / Developer market?

· Experience dealing with framework agreements?

· Product knowledge within insulation or building materials?

· Specification Sales is not necessarily part of this role as there is a separate specification sales team but it would naturally be a useful skill set

· Experience selling into the Regional House Builders & Developers?

In this role you will be working with architects as well as the specification / technical teams within the house builders & developers. Working alongside their procurement and design teams as well as the Specification Managers and Sales team within our client.

This role will focus on the specification and supply of insulation products to the main house builders, establishing framework agreements, collating project leads and back selling via the main distribution channels.

Knowledge of insulation materials is naturally a bonus but by no means essential. The focus in on the individual - finding the right person who has experience working with the larger, regional house builders and developers. Someone who is an experience Business Development professional within the Building Supplies / Construction Supplies sector.

We need to find a commercial astute sales professional from the construction supplies sector who has a proven track record of account management at a variety of levels and a network of contacts within the sector.
