LOUGHBOROUGH: British Gypsum, one of the UK’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of gypsum-based plastering and drylining solutions, has once again been recognised as one of the UK’s leading business to business brands.

The company has climbed 64 places to be ranked 207th in the 2010 list of 'Business Superbrands', which identifies and pays tribute to the country’s strongest B2B names.

British Gypsum managing director, Mike Chaldecott, commented: “Our vision is to be the UK’s best building materials supplier and that means giving customers an outstanding experience. Whether it’s help to overcome a design issue, sustainable solutions to meet specific performance criteria, or help to reduce and manage waste, our aim is to give customers the confidence that they have been given the best solution and the best advice available.”

Stephen Cheliotis, chairman of the expert council and chief executive officer, the Centre for Brand Analysis, said: “In this economic climate a powerful brand is more important than ever. It can be a key driver of new and repeat business and a positive influence on stakeholders, ranging from employees to suppliers.

"The results of this survey are not only interesting but ultimately useful in understanding the perception the market has of these brands, and therefore their likely potency and financial success.”
