WALES: Rockwool, a leading manufacturer of non-combustible stone wool insulation, will be exhibiting at the Chartered Institute of Housing Annual Conference and Exhibition: Housing 2010 in Harrogate on 22-24 June.

The company will be attending the exhibition to demonstrate how it can help social housing stockholders reduce energy costs and carbon emissions through refurbishment of the building fabric. This includes the selection of the appropriate insulation measures such as external wall and loft insulation systems. Rockwool is also able to identify how to match such work with available subsidies through a variety of funding schemes such as CESP and CERT.

The company decided to exhibit at CIH because it provides access to a wide spectrum of professionals involved in the running, maintenance and build of social housing stock. The renovation of existing social housing through additional insulation measures is critical to ensure that carbon emission reduction objectives are achieved.
